This lovely traditional independent house is situated in the village of Cardoso, in the hilly area known as the Garfagnana, popular with walkers and nature lovers. It is under one hour's drive from the popular walled town of Lucca and Pisa international airport.Surrounded by lush countryside, the Tuscan home is arranged on two floors: on the ground level there are two adjoining living areas, one with an open fireplace and the other with a wood-burning heater, a spacious dining room, a modern kitchen and a large bathroom with a shower.
An attractive wooden staircase leads to the first floor which comprises three bedrooms (one with sloping ceiling) and a second bathroom, also with a shower. There are traditional terracotta floor tiles throughout the house (except for the kitchen and bathrooms which have ceramic tiles), as well as some fine chestnut beams and brick arch features.
